Inserm Bio-Santé Toulouse

IBST

Inserm Bio-Santé Toulouse (IBST) is composed by two Inserm platforms located in two Research Institutes of Toulouse (I2MC -Metabolic and Cardiovascular Research Institute- and CRCT -Cancer Research Institute-) for a total of four engineers. Since 2017, these platforms assist users from the design of the single-cell experiments to the data analysis, including single-cell libraries generation and sequencing. The platform propose all the solutions and protocols commercialized by 10x Genomics, with strong expertise in single-cell gene expression, CITE-seq, Immune profiling (TCR, BCR) and spatial transcriptomics.

Engineer in GeT-Santé Core Facility

Emeline Lhuillier received her Master degree in Molecular Biology option Genetics and Biodiversity Management, from the Pierre & Marie Curie University, Paris, France, in 2005. After several experiences in conservation biology and population genetics labs, she joined the Genome and Transcriptome Core Facility (GeT, Toulouse, France) in May 2011 as a Next Generation Sequencing Engineer in INRAE. Still working as an engineer on GeT, she was recruted in the French National Institute of Health and Medical research in 2014 on an other site of the core facility, and finally joined the I2MC lab in September 2018.

Since January 2020, Emeline Lhuillier has been in charge of the GeT-Santé platform, offering her expertise to research teams in the Health community to advise them and carry out their projects in next-generation sequencing (in particular RNA-seq), as well as single-cell and spatial transcriptomics.

“Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression” provides single cell transcriptome 3′ gene expression and multiomic capabilities to profile tens of thousands of cells. This technology allows to explore the full complexity of cellular diversity, cellular heterogeneity, novel targets, and biomarkers with combined gene expression and surface protein expression in each cell

SPATIAL OMIC

“Visium Spatial Gene Expression” is a next-generation molecular profiling solution for classifying tissue based on total mRNA. This technology allows to map the whole transcriptome with morphological context in FFPE or fresh-frozen tissues to discover novel insights into normal development, disease pathology, and clinical translational research.

RNAseq, ChIPseq, WGS…: support in project design, library construction, coordination with sequencing and bioinfo analysis platforms.
