Cedric Moro a obtenu un doctorat en 2005 et une habilitation à diriger des recherches en 2012 en Physiopathologie à l’Université Paul Sabatier de Toulouse, France. Il est actuellement directeur de recherche Inserm et responsable de l’équipe MetaDiab à l’I2MC.

Cheminement de carrière
Après un post-doctorat de 3 ans au  Centre de Recherche Biomédicale du Pennington à Baton Rouge (USA), il a été recruté chargé de recherche Inserm en 2008. Il a été le lauréat du prix jeune chercheur de l’association européenne de l’obésité en 2004 et Auguste Loubatières de la SFD en 2020.

Cedric Moro received a PhD in 2005 and Habilitation in 2012 in Pathophysiology from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France. He is currently Research Director at Inserm and head of Team MetaDiab at I2MC, Inserm/Paul Sabatier University UMR1297.

Career path
After a 3-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center (Baton Rouge, USA), he was appointed Research Investigator at Inserm in 2008. He was the recipient of the Young Investigator Award of EASO in 2004 and the Auguste Loubatières Award of SFD in 2020.
