IR-2 (Ingénieur de recherche de classe 2 INSERM)

Gaëtan est spécialiste en biochimiste des lipides et en biologie moléculaire. Il participe aux projets de l’équipe et développe des nouvelles techniques et approches biochimiques (mesurer les phosphoinositides par spectrométrie de masse) et de biologie moléculaire (édition du génome…).

Maitrise de biochimie à l’université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse). Après un poste d’ingénieur d’étude/IE à Bayer Cropscience (Lyson), il rejoint l’équipe de B. Payrastre en 2003. En 2006 il obtient un Poste d’IE (concour INSERM).

Research engineer INSERM

He is a lipid biochemistry and molecular biology engineer. As part of the team's research themes, his activities focus on development of new techniques to quantify phosphosinositides base on mass spectrometry and design news tools in molecular biology.

Career path

He holds a Master’s degree in biochemistry and a MSC in molecular biology from Paul Sabatier University - Toulouse. After a first experience at Bayer Cropscience in Lyon, he moved to B. Payrastre’s lab in 2003 and got an INSERM permanent engineer position in 2006.
