On the occasion of the ESOF (European Open Science Forum) congress organized in Toulouse in 2018, the Toulouse group of Femmes & Sciences developed, jointly with the Occitanie Ouest regional delegation of the CNRS, the project La Science taille XXElles. This project aimed to highlight women scientists who are doing science today and those of the past, often remarkable but still unknown. Twelve Toulouse women scientists from 10 different establishments were photographed by Vincent Moncorgé, and their photos constituted an exhibition which was installed in the windows of the Galeries Lafayette and has since toured in various Toulouse sites.
Today we are pleased to host this exhibition at I2MC. You can find the portraits in different places of our Institute. As a highlight, on June 21 at 11 a.m., we will welcome Dominique Morello, for an original and well-documented conference: “From cliché 51 to RNA vaccines, spotlight on remarkable women scientists”.
